Orange Kutaisi Hotel

The balcony on our first floor room had a great view of Georgia, and breakfast was delicious, served nicely. We stayed for two days and were welcomed warmly. The staff were friendly, helpful, and available around the clock. Really loved the feel of Kutaisi from here, and appreciated the staff in particular. Thanks for having us ❤️🙏🏻

Bagrathi cathedral is very close by, and the hotel has a lovely view. We found the room neat and clean, with the fridge stocked with wine, water, snacks, and more. Breakfast was served individually, and the service was really nice. My husband and I had a better stay than we expected.

We wanted to leave the next morning as quickly as possible. The room was very cold, around 15 degrees, and neither the heating nor the air conditioning worked. When we asked to move, we waited an hour for the owner, who spoke to us aggressively and wouldn't even come into the room to check the temperature. After about half an hour of talking, he agreed to switch rooms. There was fungus throughout the room we stayed in, and I saw a cockroach on the wall, so I think this place needs sanitation checks. The owner also canceled the Booking reservation, apparently so we couldn't leave a review and he wouldn't have to pay the commission. We have the payment receipt, and Booking will be informed. He was very uncultured and unpleasant. This was the worst hotel experience of my life, and I can't recommend it.

Breakfast on the balcony came with a lovely view, and the homemade food was good, with fresh vegetables, eggs, jams, cheese, and more. The owner welcomed us in a friendly way and checked that we were comfortable. It's a small, warm and quiet place, about a 15 minute walk from the city in a peaceful area. Upstairs there's a relaxing spot with a pool table and musical instruments guests can use.
