I wouldn't recommend it. We were rushed through the tasting, with barely a minute between wines, and they often left someone in our group without a pour. The wines were warm on a hot day, and the chacha and cognac tasted like turpentine. They don't really speak English. There are many better places.

The cats were the one bright spot. We came here while trying to visit the wine cave and did a tasting. The wines were alright, but the service wasn't great. The waiter didn't really understand English, even for something like "water please," and sometimes didn't pour for some people in our group. We'd already been to two other wineries, and this one was a step down from them.

The tasting left a lasting impression, and I ended up buying quite a lot of wine to enjoy later. During my July 2021 visit, the welcoming, knowledgeable team at Graneli Winery explained their winemaking process and the care that goes into each bottle. It was a really enjoyable and informative visit for a wine enthusiast.

The tasting includes 10 wines, which is nice, but at 30 GEL per person it's too expensive compared with other options. You either pay that amount or buy a wine. Unfortunately, the guides don't speak English very well. Our guide did try hard, but the tour was extremely short and not very informative. For comparison, Kindzmarauli had a great tour with four wines for 8 GEL, and Cradle of wine Mariani offered eight wines with bread and cheese and detailed explanations. I wouldn't recommend this at that price.

The team was very friendly, and we had a really good experience. We stumbled on the place by accident while looking for the wine cave. The factory tour showed both European and Georgian winemaking methods. Afterward, we tasted maybe 12 wines and cha-cha with Georgian cheese a bit like feta. It was 30 GEL per person and felt like good value, or you could buy a wine afterward and pay nothing for the tasting. One suggestion: serve the white wines before the reds, since switching back and forth gets confusing. It would also help if the paper said which wines are red and which are white.
