The location and yard were the only good parts of my stays. On my first visit, two weeks ago, I called two days ahead and booked a room. It wasn’t properly cleaned when I arrived. The linens were grey and smelled of sweat, the toilet hadn’t been cleaned, and the bathroom bin hadn’t been emptied. The room smelled damp, had insects, and didn’t have proper curtains. The window faced the neighbours’ yard, where people walked and talked from early morning. I could hear every step from upstairs, and there was no lamp or socket near the bed. The bathroom had no shelf by the sink, so I had to leave my toothbrush on it. The shower had no proper holder, and water spilled onto the floor while I washed, with no mop to clean it up. There were water shortages too. During my two-night stay, I could shower only once, at the exact time water was available. It was hot and humid in Kvareli, around 35 degrees, and there was no air conditioning. The host was the worst part. She insisted the door be shut at 9 p.m., spoke arrogantly, and seemed to have memory problems. I had to return to Kvareli for work two weeks later. It was already 11 p.m., so I went to the same GH and asked to stay. The host started shouting that I should have called earlier. I tried to calm her and said I had my own linens if she hadn’t prepared any, but she said that wasn’t acceptable. I told her I wanted to leave. I don’t recommend staying here. For 20 euros, you can find a better welcome in the nice city of Kvareli.
