Zurapalace Hotel

The hotel sits up a mountain, so don't drive there unless you're comfortable on steep roads. They run a minibus to the beach and can transfer you to the airport, and Bolt taxis are very cheap. The view is fantastic, the atmosphere is quiet and relaxing, the beach is clean, and the loungers with umbrellas don't cost much. I'd recommend it if you want to unwind away from Batumi's crowds. We spent two weeks at Zura across four rooms. The larger rooms, 107-112, are worth paying extra for if you can. They're spacious, have great views and a kitchen, and some include a washing machine. Room 112 is the largest. They could use shower curtains, better pillows and mattresses, a coffee machine, and table lamps. The smaller rooms are very cramped, and I can't picture three people fitting comfortably. Internet was a major problem for work and video calls. The staff did their best and helped whenever we asked. Elsa was especially friendly and helpful. We liked the restaurant, food, and atmosphere, although breakfast took at least an hour and coffee could take 40 minutes.

You get both mountain and sea views here, with fresh air, birdsong, and plenty of peace. The road up is steep, so be careful, particularly when it's raining. There's a shop and a restaurant with tasty food, and the staff are polite and pleasant. Our room was clean. It'd be useful to have little basics like a toothbrush and slippers in the room. I'd definitely recommend visiting.

The food was fresh, full of flavor, and nicely presented, and the cozy interior made the place feel warm and welcoming. We visited Zurapalas and were delighted with the attentive, friendly, professional service. You can tell they care about quality. We'll be back, and we'd happily recommend it to friends.

We loved how peaceful it felt, with the mountains behind us and the sea nearby, while Batumi was still just a short drive away. The hotel is on a mountainside facing the beach, so waking up to views of the Black Sea and green hills was unforgettable. Our room was comfortable, spotless, and relaxing. The hostess and staff were genuinely welcoming and kept going out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. We also enjoyed the restaurant's fresh local dishes, which showed off Georgian cuisine. A memorable stay in Kvariati, and one we'd recommend.
