The bed was warm and comfortable, and the room looked brand new and was clean. I was the only guest, so they let me choose a flexible checkout time and even gave me coffee and cake before I headed out. I stayed one night in January, when this was about the only guesthouse open for winter. In the evening, the family invited me to join them for supra, with traditional Tushetian food and their homemade wine. Thank you very much, Naira and family!

The food was a real highlight, especially the fresh bread and cheese and the homemade tea. Naira and Mari were so kind and attentive, they made it easy to feel at home. Our room was spotless and cozy, with fresh sheets and soft pillows that made for restful nights. We had an incredible stay at Guesthouse Alvani, and were welcomed warmly as soon as we arrived. A lovely place to stay in Alvani or before a trip to Tusheti.

The meal here was the best we had in Georgia, and their homemade wine made it even better. Everyone in the family was welcoming and kind, and we hope to return. This was our second stay a couple of weeks ago, and it was just as good as the first. The rooms were clean, with a very nice bathroom and a comfortable bed.

Naira made us a delicious dinner and breakfast, and we got to look through her cookbook about Tusheti cuisine and the history behind the food. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the bathrooms were very nice, and we really enjoyed the food. It was a wonderful place to stay, one of the best places we found in Georgia. We hope to come back soon!

The garden and terrace were lovely places to sit, and the house was very welcoming too. The hosts were kind and helpful, and their Tusheti family background means they know the area well. Ms Naira is a cook and made some of the best food we had on our trip through Georgia so far. Guesthouse Alvani was a great place to rest and recharge before heading to Tusheti.
