The wine master made the tour special, sharing lots of fascinating details in a warm, engaging way. Everyone on staff was kind and welcoming, and the wine and cheese tasting was one of my favorite experiences in Georgia so far. Prices were very reasonable too. I’d happily recommend it to anyone who loves wine.

The grounds at Guiaani Winery are peaceful, lush, and beautifully cared for. My husband and I booked a wine tasting, and the service made the visit memorable. I think our guide was the owner, since the sommelier was unwell that day, though I can’t remember his name. He explained every part of making the wine and chacha in detail and with real enthusiasm, and we never felt hurried. We’re already hoping to come back and stay when we’re next in Georgia. It’s a heartfelt, authentic place to unwind away from the city.

I’d never before liked every wine at a tasting, but here I fell for all about eight wines we tried, as well as a couple of spirits. The food was the best I’ve had in Georgia, too. Thanks to the team for spending so much time with us.

We had a really relaxing three days here by the pool, and the hotel has a lovely laid-back feel. Breakfast was very good and served in a separate building. For our other meals we went outside the hotel, since the restaurant food didn’t match the traditional Georgian dishes we’d been eating. The modern twists felt unnecessary, and I thought the food should have been better. The local cat also kept jumping onto the table and was too familiar for my liking. I’m not comfortable with animals in a restaurant. Even with that dining experience, we had a very nice stay and would recommend the hotel and winery.
