We had booked just one night, expecting to hike to Usguli, but the landlady warned us the snow was too heavy to go that way. She suggested different hiking routes and itineraries, so we changed our plans. She was so welcoming and treated us like honored guests. Her breakfast each morning was amazing, and her recommendation for a local restaurant was a hit. We ended up eating there four days in a row. I highly recommend staying here.

Thea and her family made me feel like one of their own. She was so hospitable and always made sure I was comfortable. Breakfast was a treat every morning: homemade, with different Georgian breads, cheese, a hot dish, omelette, fresh fruit, and a sweet spread. It kept me going all day. Thea waited for us when we arrived late in the evening, and she was lovely. Our room was huge, with a spacious living room and a washing machine in the toilet. The location is great. From the mezzanine balcony, we could see the mountain range and its alps, plus the Svan tower lit up at night. A perfect guesthouse in a beautiful town!

We stayed five nights, and Thea helped us sort out everything we needed to book, from taxis and buses to tours. She also gave us advice on the best hikes that were doable this time of year. The accommodation was super clean and comfortable, in a great location, and the breakfasts were incredible, with stunning views. Thea goes above and beyond.
