We had a great stop at this lovely homestay. The room was super comfortable, the family treated us so well, and the food was delicious. Thank you so much!

The room was clean, though the wardrobe was full of the host's clothes. From the window, I could see the peaceful scenery of Zwilmi. The food was simple, delicious, and served in huge portions. When I first arrived, the host was napping and seemed groggy as he showed me around, which made me uneasy. I later found him to be a shy but kind country boy, and he didn't seem like someone looking to scam tourists. The dog barked through the night, so it was hard to sleep at times. Also, Booking.com listed a private bathroom, but it was shared.

The biggest issue was the bathroom. I booked through Booking.com because it advertised a private one, but the bathroom was shared and even located outside. The Wi-Fi didn't work at all, though thankfully the village had a strong LTE signal. Booking.com said check-in began at 2 PM, but when I showed up at 2:30 PM, they told me I was early. What the hell?????? I also paid 25 Lari for dinner and got nothing but bread. I ate only bread for dinner and breakfast the next day, then nearly died on a 15-kilometer hike. One of the two photos below is dinner, the other breakfast. Can you tell which is which??? Paying 25 Lari just for bread feels so unfair!!! They shouldn't run a business like this. I don't usually write reviews like this, but I'm furious. I can't understand why the Booking.com rating is so high!!!!! And why do I have to give it one star on Google? Why isn't there a zero-star option??? Google, wake up!!!!
