Guesthouse Mountain View

The hospitality was the highlight. The owner kindly drove us to the hike’s starting point, and after we got back, he even took us to the airport to check on flying back with Vanilla Sky. Such a lovely guy. We could leave our big bags there while we were away, and I borrowed hiking poles for three days. We stayed before our trek and again before returning to Tbilisi. Both rooms had firm beds, which we liked, and heaters since we were there in October. The rooms and private bathrooms were spotless, and it’s a seven-minute walk from the central drop-off and bus stop. Breakfast was amazing both mornings, especially the little pancakes. They packed up what we didn’t finish to take with us. Two breakfasts for two people cost 120 GEL. I’m so glad I found this guesthouse.

I only wish I could have stayed longer, but they were sold out and couldn’t extend my booking. This is a small, cozy guesthouse run by a wonderfully kind family. My room was clean and nicely equipped, with a big, warm, comfortable bed. There’s complimentary tea and coffee in the downstairs common room, and the garden is a lovely place to relax. Parking is on nearby streets, and the village center is just a couple of minutes away on foot.

The owners were so welcoming and kind, and I had a very comfortable stay at Mountain View Guesthouse. The view is spectacular, and you’re close to Mestia City Centre without being bothered by noise.

The garden and mountain view made this stay feel extra special. The place is quiet overall, yet only a five-minute walk from the center. The rooms and common area were cozy and clean, and the hosts were incredibly helpful, some of the kindest people I met in Georgia. We had such a lovely time at Mountain View Guest house and are already hoping to come back.
