Maria was lovely and helpful, and the rooms were warm and cosy. It’s cheaper than most places in Mestia, with bars and the central street nearby. Highly recommended!

A friendly, inexpensive place, and a good option for summer housing.
Marina and Leo have made the "Mari" guesthouse a cosy place to stay, and I’m glad I got to spend time here. The courtyard is green and well kept, full of huge, beautiful flowers, with a view toward the Hatsvali ski resort. There’s an auto parts store there too. The kitchen downstairs has a TV, fridge, gas stove, seating area, and the dishes and cookware needed to make a meal. Upstairs, a balcony looks out at Tetnuldi. It has a smoking area, three tables with chairs, and a sofa, so guests can sleep outside. The guesthouse is at 12 Senaki Street, in central Mestia. It has six double rooms on the second floor, for up to 12 guests, and three of the rooms look toward Tetnuldi, one of Svaneti’s well-known mountain peaks. Rooms have beds, wardrobes, bedside tables with lamps, and chairs. There are three bathrooms and high-speed Wi-Fi throughout. The doors are always open. I’d recommend staying here!
I’ve been staying with Maria for a long time, and the room has been very comfortable. It’s the end of December and the heaters are working really well, so I’m warm. The hosts are lovely and friendly. I mentioned that I do yoga on the floor for two hours and need it properly warm, and they brought me their most powerful heater and a rug.
We’ve stayed here twice now. It’s very clean, the hot water is plentiful, and the plumbing works well. There’s a private kitchen, and the hosts are very polite. Highly recommend!
