We only stayed one night, and for an overnight stop between hikes it was a decent enough guesthouse. The room was spacious, with views of the cable car and Tetnuldi. The bed was comfortable, and there was a fan and a hanger that served as a closet. From the balcony, we could watch rabbits running around the courtyard. The bathroom hairdryer didn’t work, though. For a longer stay, I’d probably look elsewhere.

The owner is friendly and always happy to chat. It’s a family-run guesthouse right in the centre. Rooms are basic, but clean, and the mattresses are comfortable. I’d be glad to stay again.

The host was very friendly and had a good sense of humour. There’s a kitchen downstairs with everything needed for cooking, plus a big table where you can eat. Nikora and Spar are close by, and the central square is just a two-minute walk. My husband and I stayed two nights at the end of June 2020. We booked through Agoda for 75 GEL a night and had a third-floor room with a private bathroom. The two beds were pushed together. It was clean, had new linens, and a small balcony looking toward the mountains and church. There’s a lounge next door where you can watch TV, and no other rooms on that floor. Rooms with shared bathrooms are on the second floor. A twin room costs 40 GEL, paid directly to the host. A great guesthouse!

Those two fluffy rabbits in the backyard were the only good thing about this place, and they even seemed to have better conditions than the guests. The rooms were dirty, with tons of other people’s hair in the bed, and the kitchen had mice and cockroaches. Disgusting, and a shame I can only give one star. If you want to ruin your vacation, go ahead.
