The view is nice, but climbing up and back down is quite an adventure, and there are some hazardous spots. I don't regret going, though I could have done without it. You can save the 2 GEL entrance fee and safely climb another tower by stairs instead. Michael Khergiani's museum is also only a five-minute walk from the Svan House, and there you can learn about one of the world's greatest mountain climbers.

I've been lucky enough to stay at this wonderful place in both winter and summer. The views are the best, the hosts are the best, and it's a very nice, comfortable guest house.
