The family is lovely, and there’s a shared kitchen for guests. Rooms are quiet and have their own toilets; the hot water works and the heater keeps things quite warm. It’s right in the city center, handy when the streets are frozen in winter and you don’t want to walk far. This is one of the most affordable guesthouses with nice rooms. Don’t expect anything fancy or special, but it’s great for the price.

It’s a simple guest house and good value, with comfortable beds and a kitchen guests can use. The owner speaks good English. It’s signed clearly, tucked on a quiet road behind the Main Street, and close to the central square where the buses stop. A good choice if you want to spend less.

The twin room had a comfortable bed, and I really liked the thick duvet. It’s a nice guesthouse in central Mestia. There was a toilet leak, and by my last day it had stopped working altogether. Most of the family didn’t speak a word of English, and the one person who did wasn’t around, so it was hard to communicate.

The power went out many times while we were there, leaving it dark with no Wi-Fi, which was a bit disappointing. The place itself is quiet and cozy, with a lovely family and a kitchen for cooking and spending time together. It’s tucked off the main road but still within easy walking distance of town, and makes a good base for exploring the area.
