We picked this hotel because it was near our wedding venue and could accommodate our guests, who loved it too. That worked out well. The rooms felt authentic and cosy, and the river view from them was stunning. The hotel sits on the edge of a cliff, which looked gorgeous, and the restaurant also overlooks the river. We enjoyed the Georgian food there. I can imagine how mesmerising it must be in summer, especially with the open-air restaurant. The manager was kind and flexible when we had some last-minute cancellations. A few things could have been better. Breakfast started too late, and the tea and coffee besides breakfast were not consistently available, even though the rooms had a teapot and cups. Staff were kind and welcoming, but didn't help much with the information we asked for. We had no room service during our 5-day stay, though I'm not sure whether we were meant to ask for it. It was a good stay in an authentic hotel with a welcoming, cosy feel.

I loved the beautiful view and the staff were very polite. My room had what seemed like too many bugs and spiders, though. I hope they sort that out, because otherwise it would've been perfect.

Jana and her team were fantastic, and I really appreciate everything they did to make our stay amazing. It was the kindest, warmest, absolute best experience ever. 10/10, I'll ALWAYS come here.

The room was okay, and it had mugs and a kettle, but they charged extra for a sachet of instant coffee or tea. Breakfast was very poor and didn't start until 10. The receptionist doesn't speak English. This hotel probably used to be very good.
