Vanilla Sky Georgia

The flight to Mestia saves you eight hours on a bus, and the views are some of the most beautiful you can get from a plane. Tickets are cheap, the seats are good, and the pilots are excellent. They even shuttle you to and from Tbilisi for free, which no other airline does. A few things are a hassle: their website doesn't work, so you have to book by phone, and although they tell you to print your tickets, nobody checks them. Also, when the weather in Mestia isn't good, the plane won't fly. That's not the airline's fault, since the airport has no instrument approaches.

We're stranded in Tbilisi with no other way to get out, and we're scared for our lives. Literally no one speaks English, and everyone is trying to scam you. The weather was beautiful, but apparently not beautiful enough for the plane. Customer service was terrible, and they cancelled our flight after the scheduled transfer time. I might sue for false imprisonment and emotional damages.

I couldn't book a ticket on their website. Just wasn't possible.

What an experience 🤩 The flights from Tbilisi to almost anywhere in Georgia are really affordable, and the plane was a very cool, quite old Czech one 🥰🤗
