A North Home

Getting a proper hot shower after hiking felt like a real treat, and the rooms were spacious and spotlessly clean. We also loved the generous portions of delicious food, all made by the hosts’ mother. The hosts speak great English and were kind, helpful, and clearly love nature. They even coordinated with drivers to help us reach the remote village. We thoroughly recommend staying here.

We were met with help for a flat tire right when we arrived, and that says a lot about how warmly this family treated us. Their care made the guesthouse feel like staying with relatives. The food was phenomenal, and we could look straight out at Omalo’s famous towers. Inside, it was modern and well kept, with comfy beds and a warm shower. The rooms felt like a blanket on chilly nights, and the host gave useful hiking advice while paying attention to what we needed. Tusheti’s remote journey may not suit everyone, but we’re sure we’ll return to A North Stay.

The views across Omalo and the mountains are sublime, and the rooms are cozy, clean, and well equipped. Levan has such a gentle, warm way about him that everyone feels welcome. The food was absolutely delicious too. This was my favorite stay in all of Georgia, and I could happily have spent my whole trip here. I hope I get to come back.

The mountain view from this homestay is beautiful, and the beds were really comfortable. Everything was clean and nicely decorated. Levan and his family made us feel welcome as soon as we arrived, and they can help arrange rides or activities. Breakfast was delicious. For me, this is easily the best place in Omalo, and I couldn't find anything to fault.
