The rose garden was lovely, and the hostess and her family made us feel right at home. We were close to the local attractions, too. We had both breakfast and dinner, and really enjoyed each meal. They even treated us to wine on the house. Highly recommend.

The hosts were wonderful and accommodating, and the view was amazing. Our room was spacious and the bed comfortable. Breakfast alone would bring me back: homemade jam, cheese, biscuits, milk, yogurt, and juice, all delicious. A great weekend base if you're exploring the area.

The food was all fresh and homemade by the host, and both dinner and breakfast were super tasty. The rooms were spacious, too. We got lucky and were hosted without a reservation, but I'd recommend booking ahead. Lovely host, highly recommend staying here.

Natalie and her family made us feel so welcome that we even considered extending our stay. Everything was super clean, and Natalie really goes above and beyond. The breakfast, made mostly with their own products, tasted amazing. Their family business feels wonderfully genuine, and staying at Mtkvari was an absolute pleasure. We'd book again.

Our day out in winter was a great road trip: we flew into Kutaisi from the Netherlands, rented a car, and visited akhaltsike castle, Khertvisi castle, and vardzia. We stopped in kashuri for bakery stuff, too. Snow, cold and sunshine, and the roads were perfect. The people were very friendly. The rooms were perfect, warm inside even with -10 outside all day. Dinner was plentiful, really nice, and 100% homemade. I'd advise anyone to stay.
