The boat ride across Paliastomi Lake and the wetlands was the part I loved most. Moving through the quiet water, with greenery all around and birds calling, felt peaceful and unforgettable. The visitor center is useful, and the staff are friendly and know their stuff, including the area's history and ecology. They can also help arrange tours. Kolkheti National Park is a beautiful way to see Georgia’s wetlands and coast, with rare birds, lush forests, and waterways. It’s a lovely place to slow down and enjoy nature.

The staff were really friendly, and the trip was a lovely experience. Go on a sunny day if you can. The boat ride lasts 1h45m, with two stops in different spots where you can walk around a little.

We had a very enjoyable trip and thought it was good value. Parking was free, easy, and spacious. There were 15 of us, so we hired a boat; the friendly captain kept up a good chat. The ride took about 2hrs, including a 30min break in the woods. Bring mosquito repellent and some snacks. For groups of up to 7, there’s a speedboat option for a quicker ride that visits more places.

The scenery was nice, though it wasn’t anything close to the Amazon. We paid 250 lari for two people for the "1.5-2" hr boat ride, but it lasted just 1 hr 20 minutes. I didn't think it was worth the money and wouldn't recommend it.

The scenery is so beautiful that I can't find the words, you really have to see it. Our guide luka was incredibly skilled, and I highly recommend booking the full package that covers both lakes and the river. Call ahead to reserve a boat. If the weather is nice, the guide suggests a sunset excursion; apparently, the lake looks amazing at sunset. There’s a little stop on one of the islands where you can have snacks, so you can bring some along.
