Aparthotel Shekvetili 2

The place was clean and comfortable, close to the sea, and the service was pleasant. I really appreciate that they love dogs and look after them.

Shekvetili is a picturesque setting for this hotel, with practically a forest all around and a well-kept garden. The beach is just 50 meters away, and there’s a cafe and store nearby.

The balcony was my favorite part of the room. The view was stunning, especially at sunset, and I hated having to leave it. The hotel also has a lovely, well-kept inner garden. It’s in one of the most beautiful parts of Georgia’s Black Sea coast, with wonderful air, privacy, and scenery. There was a small kitchen and a large refrigerator, but not many dishes, and the stove only worked with the right pots. Since Shekvetili has few good cafes or restaurants, I wished the hotel had a cafe of its own. The hotel was rented by a mother and daughter who are working hard to address its shortcomings. In Georgia, businesses can often have quite a few issues because of inexperience and a lack of attention to detail. When I asked, they quickly brought me a coffee maker, a bedside lamp, and a phone charger I’d forgotten at home. The walls were very well insulated, and there was an elevator, both useful for a relaxing stay. If the business is properly set up, it has a bright future. I’d also like to see more hospitality and smiles from the staff.

The dogs deserve a special thank you. They’ve been adopted and are clearly loved and well cared for. The staff were friendly, the restaurant food was delicious, and our room was clean, with a refrigerator and no mold. We stayed for four days, and they changed the sheets and towels during our visit. I’d recommend this hotel to everyone 💕
