The shared lounge and bathroom were spotless and cozy, and with nobody else staying there, I had the whole place to myself. The bed linens were clean and really comfortable. There’s no air conditioning, but the mild weather made that fine. Maka and grandma greeted me with homemade wine and fresh watermelon. I had a booking mix-up when I arrived in Sighnaghi, possibly because I’d made a mistake cancelling another stay in Armenia. Maka was patient and kind while we worked it out through a translator. Giorgi even picked me up and dropped me at the station, though the town is small enough to walk around. Breakfast was great, especially the sausages. And trying to chat with Grandma through body language was so much fun. 😊

The view from the yard and terrace was breathtaking, and the town center is only a two-minute walk away. The rooms were neat and perfectly clean. The hosts were so kind and welcoming that it almost felt like home. They served fabulous wine and far more delicious home-cooked food than I could eat. It was all very affordable, too. If I’d known how much I’d enjoy staying here, I would’ve planned a longer visit.

You can see the fortress and wall from the house, and both are just a short walk away. The town is small, so getting around on foot is easy. Definitely take a few minutes to walk up onto the wall and fortress. Our hosts were lovely. When we arrived, she brought out fruit, snacks including Gozinaki, and native wine. She reminded me of my granny. The room and blanket were warm, and breakfast felt fresh and homey. ❤️❤️❤️

The terrace has a really atmospheric view. We were welcomed with lovely wine, and the breakfasts were delicious. The host was very hospitable, too. A great place, highly recommended!

The hosts were especially warm and welcoming, and they arranged a great trip for us to Vashlovani. The room and bathroom were very clean, and the terrace view was breathtaking. We couldn't have asked for a better stay.
