Zaza cooked for me and drove me around to places I wouldn’t have seen as a tourist. He made me feel like part of his family. It was an excellent stay, and I’d recommend the place in summer or winter if you like skiing.

There are two nearby markets for basic supplies, and Zaza offered to drive us to our next hiking spot. We stayed in an 8 dorm room with a clean bed and towels, and enjoyed the garden. For extra GEL, we also had a delicious dinner. Zaza was a really nice host. Thanks for a great stay, and hope to see you again!

The house was clean and comfortable, in a pleasant little village with a small supermarket. Zaza cooked simple, tasty food and did his best to make our stay enjoyable. He’s a wonderful, warmhearted host who knows the region well and gave us good tips for our time around Kazbegi. Thanks for everything, Zaza!

Zaza looked after us so generously and made delicious breakfasts and dinners. The hostel is great, with clean, roomy rooms and a cute garden. Highly recommend.

The mountain setting is beautiful, and Zaza is a fantastic host and cook. He even lent me a rain jacket for my hike in case it rained. The wifi was fast and reliable when I needed to connect. Great value, highly recommend!
