Hotel Easy

We left hungry after waiting a long time, even though the restaurant wasn’t busy. Drinks took forever too, while the waiter seemed to prefer smoking to working. Only one of our five dishes arrived. By the time we left it was cold, and there was no sign of the sides or other main dishes coming. We finally said we’d pay for what we’d received and leave because we’d run out of patience. Instead of apologizing or telling us how much longer it would be, the waiter got aggressive. Worst service I’ve ever experienced. Strongly don’t recommend.

Nice location and atmosphere, but the food wasn’t good. The fries were swimming in oil and inedible. The roasted chicken was just 6 pcs, and the chicken barbecue was oily too, with nothing alongside it. Usually a plate comes with some tomato, bread, or something, but there was nothing here we could eat. We had stomach pain the next day.

The portions were large, at least. We stopped for lunch after a guide recommended the place. Prices seemed quite high for Georgia, though I can’t say how they compare with other Stepantsminda restaurants since we didn’t check. The dishes tasted very similar to each other, as if they used the same kind of cheese for everything, and the food was very fatty.

The seating area was pretty nice, but our food took a long time to come. I tried the hotel restaurant, and honestly it was just an okay experience. The food wasn’t that delicious, just standard Georgian fare.
