Intourist Kazbegi

I loved waking up to the Kazbegi mountains. The views are stunning, and the rooms are cozy, with a really relaxing feel throughout the hotel. Everyone was genuinely helpful and kind, and breakfast had a delicious range of choices. A lovely place to unwind in nature and enjoy Georgian hospitality. I'd like to return.

The room was tiny, with barely enough space to walk, and the location was the only good thing about this place. My family and I were too frightened for our safety to sleep all night. Hooliganism continued until 1 AM, then staff dragged furniture around while cleaning up the mess in the middle of the night. We reported it to staff several times, but they were extremely rude and seemed to have no training in dealing with customers. Even a simple request for water went unanswered, with no professional response. We left early in the morning without breakfast. Absolutely not suitable or safe for families. I would never return and can't recommend it.

The room is compact, but the view of Mount Kazbegi and Gergeti Trinity Church is incredible. Waking up to that panorama was a special part of my stay. Lika and Nana were so helpful, especially when they spoke with local taxi drivers, which made getting around much easier. I had a really good experience here in Kazbegi and would recommend it to visitors.

The hotel sits a little above town, so walking up takes a bit longer. The rear views would be beautiful almost anywhere, but the mountain and church views from the front are clearly the standout. Judging by the earlier negative reviews, I think it may have been refurbished recently. I found it clean and stylish, with a welcoming feel, good food, and excellent service.
