Ketino's Home

On a Georgia Quad multi day tour, they arranged a whole spread of traditional dishes for us. The food wasn't salty or greasy like what you get in restaurants. I'd eat here instead of in the town center.

Ketino was so warm and hospitable. When she learned my wife was pregnant, she thoughtfully moved us to a better room without charging extra, which made our stay feel even more special. My wife and I had a wonderful visit to Kazbegi. The rooms were neat, clean, and comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious, among the best complimentary breakfasts we had at a guesthouse on our trip through Georgia. The views of Kazbegi village and the mountains around it are breathtaking. A reasonably priced choice for couples or families.

We had dinner here too, and I'd recommend it if you want a home cooked meal. Breakfast was generous and tasty. The rooms are simple but very good, with everything you might need. From the hillside across from Kazbeki (Stepandsminda), you can see the city below and catch the sunrise.

We had lunch here around January 2020, and I still remember how majestic the view from the living area was. The people were so hospitable, and there were lots of delicious foods. They even showed us how to make kinkhali, which we really loved. The Chacha especially caught my attention. I hope to visit Georgia again, and have lunch at Ketino’s home!
