I had to cut my trip short because of circumstances outside my control. I contacted the hotel right away, explained what had happened, and provided supporting evidence. Even so, they wouldn't offer any flexibility or even a partial refund, which was extremely disappointing. In my experience, many hotels in international hospitality try to accommodate guests in exceptional situations like this. I also tried to review the experience on booking com, but the hotel removed my review because the reservation was marked as a non-stayed booking.

The rooms are on the small side, but they're spotless. There's free parking on site, and the nearby metro makes it easy to get to the city center.
