The garden keeps the place fairly calm, and the location is convenient for the center, Bazaar, and bus station, all within walking distance if you’re up for walking uphill. But the room was very basic and not very clean, and the kitchen wasn’t clean either. The mattress was in horrible shape, with springs poking through. I can’t recommend staying here.

Anna is a lovely, friendly host who speaks English. The room is basic but had everything I needed, and there’s a fully equipped shared kitchen and sitting area. The place is near both the center and the old town. A great bonus: the family runs a Georgian bread bakery right there, so you can buy fresh bread every day. It’s amazing.

Ana is a great host, with quick and accurate replies. The shared space has a Georgian wooden feel and opens onto a big garden. My private-bathroom room was cozy, peaceful, clean, and comfortable. It’s a lovely place.

The rooms are upstairs on the second floor, and I had a nice view. The owners are friendly, the beds are comfortable, and both the rooms and bathroom were tidy. Fair price.
