We stayed in winter and felt right at home, warm and comfortable. The guesthouse is very high quality, and the host speaks fluent English and makes a lovely breakfast. Good restaurants are close by too, and she can point you toward them.

There’s a lovely porch with a swing, and inside the living room is modern and roomy. The house has plenty of clean bedrooms for a larger group. Shops, restaurants, and the ruins and park are all nearby, though being on a main road does make it noisy.

A roomy, affordable place to stay in Telavi, with free Wi-Fi, breakfast, and space to unwind. Excellent value.

It’s a lovely big house, with pretty rooms and new furniture. Outside there’s a terrace with both a rocking chair and a sofa swing. The bathroom could be cleaner: I noticed mold in the grout, dust, limescale, and a dirty drain. Still, it was usable for bathing and, by local standards, very good.

The standout here is the owner, an extraordinary host. The surroundings are clean and pleasant too.
