The shared Supra dinner was what made this stay feel so special. Alexandre gave heartfelt speeches as toastmaster, and having dinner with the other guests felt lovely. His family made us feel at home from the moment we arrived, and we fell for Georgia, the valley and this remarkable place. Our stone room looked out over the lush garden through big windows. We could do laundry, got useful advice on hikes and places to swim in the river, and were given kilos of fresh garden vegetables for our cycling trip. It’s a beautiful spot in a very quiet village, with cows wandering around, children playing outside and nature all around. I’d definitely go if you can.

We really enjoyed the wine and homemade chacha, and Aleksandre and his family made us feel very welcome. They also cooked one of the best meals we had in Georgia. Fantastic guest house, highly recommend it. Five stars.

Aleks went out of his way to make me feel at home, with local tips and fresh snacks. I had a wonderful stay at Aleksandre’s property. The room was spotless, nicely decorated and had everything I needed for a comfortable night. From arrival on, there were warm, thoughtful touches everywhere. I couldn’t have asked for a better host.

The garden and house are beautiful, and there are plenty of nice sights nearby, plus a great place to swim in the river. I’ve stayed in lots of guesthouses in Georgia, and this is the best one I’ve tried. Aleksandre and his family were lovely and interesting to talk with. The food was amazing and the wine excellent. We were on a road trip with two friends and spent a great evening with Aleksandre, trying his homemade wine and Chacha. His wife cooked an incredible dinner and breakfast using food from their garden. Aleksandre and his family are a perfect example of Georgian hospitality. We hope to come back sometime.
