The setting here is amazing, so go for a walk. I also loved seeing little cows all around the village. The owner and his mom were super nice, and we spent time chatting about all sorts of things. I learned a lot about Georgia, and they gave us some wine as a gift. The room we stayed in was nice and very clean, I think it was number 1. The unusual, exotic-looking bathroom tiles were a favorite detail. Out front, beside the little waterfall, there’s a communal area where you can light a fire and enjoy the atmosphere. I was impressed to hear the owner and his father make their own whiskey, having learned just from a book. We didn’t eat here, so I can’t comment on the food.

The hosts were incredibly welcoming and kind, and we felt right at home. They made us delicious breakfasts and dinners and even arranged a horse-riding experience for us. We had a wonderful time here. The place was amazing, highly recommended.

The rooms were nice, and the setting is picturesque, with the Vardazia caves easy to reach. Dinner and breakfast were superb. You have to try the owners’ homemade wine. I can’t wait to sample his whisky next time I’m in the area.
