The guesthouse is quiet and calm, a good spot for meditation, and it's close to the beach. The host seems like a really warm-hearted woman, and the place is clean and cozy. There are dogs in the street, and we'd been warned about them. My brother and I were coming back from the beach at night when we saw one dog's silhouette and froze, thinking we might get mauled. But once she came closer, she turned out to be harmless and playful, sniffing and jumping on us with her tail wagging from excitement. One of the happiest dogs I've ever seen ๐๐๐ You can pet her, she loves meeting people. On the way to the beach you cross a railway, which I thought was cool because I like the sound and look of old rusty tracks. It's still in use and trains come by from time to time, but you can hear them coming, so it's easy to tell when one is on the way.
