Resort Keriya Hotel

The room was spacious and comfortable, and the children’s playground was good. Some staff, including Nika, Beka, and Roman, were friendly and helpful, but the manager, Elena, and some others came across as indifferent and insolent. Not much hospitality here. The hotel gets 3.5 out of 5 from me. There was dust on the shelves and furniture, and it would’ve been good to have a kettle. The balcony had a nice sea view. Breakfast was poor and made with low-quality products. There isn’t really a pool, just a dirty, shallow puddle. For the restaurant, I’d give 3 out of 5, with some leeway for Shekvetili reality. Adjapsandali, chvishtari, and pizza were okay, but the Caesar salad dressing was poor, the supermarket pelmeni were mostly dough and cost restaurant prices, and the chicken cutlet was dry. I have no reason to return.

The hotel is in a perfect spot by the sea, and the grounds have a comfortable fenced area with a trampoline, a kids’ corner, and nice pavilions. The pool is only suitable for very young children. Breakfast was pretty good and included. The apartment floor still had sand and other dirt when we checked in, and the room was only half-cleaned during our stay. The white sheets had yellow stains, and even over our 5 days, the towels weren’t replaced. I’d avoid eating at the restaurant, except perhaps for the Imeruli Khachapuri. The portions were the tiniest I’ve ever seen, and the prices felt like a rip-off. Just look at the “large” rice with shop (!) nuggets on the kids’ menu.

The fresh ingredients made everything delicious. We especially liked the ajaruli khachapuri, salads, barbecue meat, desserts, Georgian Bier, and wine. They also had a special offer on desserts like Tiramisu, plus milkshakes and smoothies. There’s a special children’s menu, so I’d recommend the restaurant to families with kids and everyone else too. Well done! 🥰

We ended up going home hungry. We had to wait on ourselves, clean the tables, and bring our own dishes. Some staff were so unpleasant that it felt bad even asking them for help. Others were friendly but didn’t follow through on what we requested. After waiting half an hour, the food that arrived was disgusting. They never brought the main dish we ordered because, apparently, the cooks had gone home since it was late. They offered just one replacement dish for the four dishes we’d ordered because they couldn’t make anything else. What did come out was as bad as the service. I’ve never had Lobiani this awful. I wouldn’t give this restaurant even one star if I could. HORRIBLE. Just don’t go, especially if you’re really hungry. Don’t.
