H2O Ureki

It's a new hotel, well placed, and the prices are nice.

The cafe on site was a nice touch, with tasty homemade European and Georgian food. The rooms were roomy and clean, and the showers had no mold. It's a new hotel, kept neat and tidy. The sea is easy to reach in a straight line from its second-line location. The Russian-speaking staff were glad to help and answer questions. I was very happy with my stay and will definitely return.

There was no one at reception to welcome us when we arrived or see us off at checkout, which made the hotel seem poorly cared for. The rooms had clearly been renovated and still looked fairly new, though signs of wear were already showing. Yellow marks on the towels weren't pleasant, and the air conditioner was noisy without making it clear whether it was cooling. It was fine for a night, but the comfort wasn't what we expected.

Getting to the sea takes only 5-6 minutes on foot, though Google Maps misses the direct paths between buildings. There are plenty of shops nearby with fair prices. The hotel is newly renovated, and the staff were very friendly. They messaged me on WhatsApp ahead of time to ask where I was, and let me check in early when they could. My room had a large, excellent new TV, a good bed, air conditioning, and Italian bathroom amenities. There are water coolers on every floor. I’d rate it 12 out of 10 and wish them success. They could improve by adding breakfasts and boosting the Wi-Fi.
