Seaside Guruli Kokhebi Chalet

They built the hotel around the pine forest and made the trees central to its design, instead of clearing them. It’s a remarkable place, and you don’t find many spots like this nearby.

We’d be glad to return. The staff are welcoming, friendly, and happy to answer questions, and the cottages look especially lovely at night with their lighting. The grounds and interiors are stylish, with hammocks and a balcony. The setting is gorgeous, with fresh air and thoughtful touches everywhere. For cooking outdoors, there are several barbecue areas, plus skewers, a charcoal lighter, and grill grates. They’ve also provided everything needed for a comfortable stay, including regular and disposable dishes, glasses, and napkins.

We stayed at the Chalet from October 6th to 11th, me with my mom and a friend, and it was just the kind of vacation you hope for. Our quiet, private spot was away from the main tourist area, with a pine forest leading to the Black Sea, its magnetic sand, and a shore full of shells. It felt like it was all ours. The stray dogs and cat kept us company the whole time, and we still talk about them. The all-red one is Zucchini, the red-and-white one is Pusya, and the big, skinny black-and-brown dog with big ears is Ushasty Nyan. We hope they’re all okay. There were a few downsides, sure, but they seemed so minor here that I don’t even want to mention them. A-frames are our everything!

The pleasant grounds have spots for picnics and are surrounded by pine forest. The wooden houses are new and very cozy. I slept well during my two days at the Chalet, and the sea and its magnetic sand beach are close by.
