The family-run café served excellent food, and the owners were very nice and helpful. You can also buy cheese, fruit, jams, honey, and wool hats and socks. The house was cold, though: in October our room was around 13 degrees Celsius, and the radiator didn't give off much heat. The cupboards were full of the owners' things, leaving little storage space. We couldn't use a kitchen and there was no kettle. The bathroom was shared with the hosts. Wi-Fi only worked in the café, not in the house, and it was a bit inconvenient that the door was locked whenever the house was empty.

That bed was fantastic. After three weeks of traveling around Georgia, I finally got a really good night's sleep. The room was okay, and breakfast was tasty too. The location in Ushguli is beautiful. I'd definitely come back.

The family was friendly, but the food was awful. The bed had a dent in it, and the toilet barely flushed. And that meal they served? The worst food I've had. Hard to call it a meal.
