We stayed one night without breakfast and wouldn't recommend this place at all. We told the owner through Booking.com that we'd arrive between 6pm and 7pm. We got there just after 6 and found two couples waiting outside to check in. An older woman asked us to wait five minutes for the owner, but we waited 15 minutes before he arrived. He immediately checked in both couples without even asking my partner and me. We kept telling him we'd booked a double bed with a private shower, the only room available then, but he ignored us and checked in the other couple. We insisted, so he called someone, probably his wife, as we spoke to her later. He realized he'd made a mistake and had to ask that couple to leave so he could give us the correct room. We felt bad for them. After dinner, we came back to find a bad smell coming from the bathroom, and it stayed that way for our whole stay. There was no body wash or shampoo, only hand soap. I hope the listing makes that clear. There were no hand towels either, and we had to ask for bath towels. It's advertised as soundproof, but we could hear every single noise. If we could, we'd rate it -/5.

The apartment we'd booked in the neighborhood had a family issue and couldn't host us. Luckily, we soon found Maria, who was kind and helpful throughout our four days. We had two clean, pleasant rooms in an apartment with a great view, and Maria made us delicious breakfasts and dinners. We definitely recommend the place.

We had a really nice stay. The owner was lovely and helped us with everything, so it’s a great place to book and enjoy.

It’s not operating now, and everything is closed. I’m confused that you list it as open. Today is 5.04.2024.

The food was a real highlight, especially the Lobiani, and the other local dishes were good too. The woman running the place was warm and spoke good English. After checkout, they let us leave our backpacks there until our transfer, which was easy and thoughtful. Our room was spacious, clean, and nicely kept, with a modern bathroom. The toilet is in the shower area, so that takes a little getting used to, but it wasn’t a problem. The hotel sits above the village, with a gorgeous view of Shkara from the balcony and the village and green hills from the room. We’d happily stay again.
