I recommend getting a 4x4 to reach this lovely family-run home. A 4x4 is also a good idea for driving around Georgia, since many roads are in terrible condition or simply don’t exist. We spent a memorable night there and were welcomed with real Georgian warmth. The cozy, clean home has plenty of charm, and the hosts made us feel more like old friends than guests. They served traditional Georgian dishes and even poured homemade wine. The relaxed, generous atmosphere and their kindness made the stay special. I left full of appreciation for Georgia’s culture and spirit, as well as with a full stomach and a full heart. If you want more than just a place to sleep, this is a lovely way to experience Georgian life.

Just a few minutes from the caves, the location is amazing. The bedrooms are comfortable, and there’s a really cozy, lovely garden. Bondo is a great host and made us feel the warmth of Georgian hospitality. I recommend it!

You’re only a few minutes from Vardzia cave’s. I loved how friendly and welcoming they were. This guest house is a great fit for backpackers and nature lovers, especially if you want to get a feel for Georgian culture and life in the countryside. I don’t think you’ll forget the time you spend there.
