Iberia Palace Hotel & Restaurant

Parking was easy to find, and the hotel is near Dadiani Palace. Our Suite with Balcony was roomy and nicely decorated, the staff were welcoming, and breakfast was enough for the morning. There were mosquitoes in the room because the windows had no screens. Both nights I stayed, parties on the dance floor upstairs were extremely loud until midnight. That will probably stop me from booking again. Breakfast is served in that same space, which holds 50+ people at night, so in the morning it was still full of smoke and smells from the night before.

I’m very happy with every detail. The place felt pleasant, cozy, and fun, and the host was exceptional, with attentive staff.

I only visited the restaurant, so I can judge that part. The staff were very friendly, the food was delicious, and the interior was pleasant and very clean. Georgian music was playing, and there was room for people to dance. We had Elarji, Megrelian Khachapuri, Kharcho, and Kuchmaci. The Elarji was especially good with Kharcho, and one of our friends just kept eating it. I really enjoyed the Kuchmaci too, and finished with a tasty salad. The peach-flavored fruit Vodka was easy to drink and delicious 🤤, a great match for the meal. I didn’t stay at the hotel, but from what I saw, it looked high quality.

There was a wedding at the hotel restaurant, and nobody told us before we arrived. The music and bass were so loud I couldn’t work or sleep, or even think, let alone read. I’d planned to get some work done in my room. It’s horrible to pay for a room and get no sleep.
