Modak Royal Hotel

There are 75 rooms here, from standard and deluxe rooms to chalets, with bed and breakfast. The staff were wonderful, whether at reception, in the restaurant, or the manager. Set in a safe, peaceful spot in Kwahu Pepease, it’s about a 15-minute drive from Kwahu Abetifi. A perfect place to spend a restful holiday.

It’s a quiet place for a vacation. The rooms are cozy, neat, and clean, though the AC remote didn’t work. The pool was very dirty and disgusting, and the fan switch was really tight.

The washrooms in rooms 149 and 144 were dusty and dirty, and the rooms weren’t neat.

The service was a major problem for me. Staff hospitality seemed inconsistent, and some were unresponsive or unprofessional. Communication and requests weren’t always handled promptly, which left guests dissatisfied. The cleanliness reports are also concerning, with dirty rooms, unkempt bathrooms, and facilities that seem poorly maintained. Guests have also mentioned outdated furnishings, bedding and linens that may not meet expectations, and rooms that feel basic, uncomfortable, or short on amenities. Common areas like corridors, lounges, and recreational spaces may look neglected. The facilities seem limited, and the location may not be as peaceful as guests hope, with possible street noise and a lack of scenic views. With comfort, cleanliness, facilities, and service all falling short, Modak Royal Hotel may not provide a relaxing stay. Travelers looking for a more pleasant experience might find better options elsewhere. It doesn’t seem to meet expectations for comfortable accommodation, amenities, service, or value for money.
