Accra City Hotel

We stayed here with RSA’s U20 National Team and had a great time. The chef was very accommodating with the special menu our soccer athletes needed. Prince at the front desk also gave great service. The hotel is beautiful and centrally located, and the staff were professional and always ready to help.

I spent a week at Accra City Hotel for a professional training event with colleagues, though we were staying elsewhere. The venue worked well for focused business sessions, and the staff were professional. Logistics were satisfactory. The catering was a highlight: breakfast and lunch had plenty of choice, and the food was consistently fresh and well-seasoned. WiFi was fast and dependable for our sessions. Restrooms for men, women, and people with disabilities were well maintained and stayed clean throughout the week. The modern lobby had comfortable seating for waiting or quick team discussions. The hotel felt calm, clean, and professional, and its art gallery, with pieces for sale, added a cultural touch. The pool looked clean and inviting, but was barricaded during our training hours, 9 am-4 pm. For a corporate event, the quiet setting suits concentration. The art gallery is also a nice place to walk through during a coffee break.

I remember the beauty of the grounds and the conference room from a book launch I attended here in 2013. The room was well organized, and the staff coordinated everything neatly and professionally. Accra City Hotel has lovely views and scenery, and it’s one of the finest places in Ghana. I still have memories from the experience to share.

Getting in and out of the parking area was easy, and there was plenty of space. The food was good with a decent range, especially the tuna sandwiches at breakfast, which I loved. The hotel was clean and the staff friendly. My one real annoyance was the location: it’s central in Accra, but traffic often builds up right outside. Otherwise, it was fine.
