Accra Luxury Apartments @ Silicon Square

There are nice restaurants and a small market right next door, and the apartment is on the third floor. Inside, it’s well furnished, with a handy washer and dryer and a nice balcony. The staff were attentive whenever we needed anything. We enjoyed our stay and would happily return.

The staff were very professional, and the location is handy for shops and a pharmacy nearby. The rooms are spacious and comfortable.

The apartment itself was good, and I’ve booked the Achimota apartment many times. The staff there have always been good and never stolen or hidden anything. Here, though, I’m sure I left a white T-shirt on the bed. They cleaned the room in front of me, while I sat outside for three hours waiting for my time to go to the airport, but later said there was no shirt. If you leave something behind, don’t expect them to call you or keep it safe. To me, this felt like stealing a customer’s belongings.

My holiday in Ghana ended on a sour note. I stayed in room B3 from October 17-25, 2024, and on Thursday October 24, 2024, the cleaners took my white-gold necklace while cleaning our room. That was the only day I hadn’t worn it, because I was going to swim at the safari reserve and didn’t want to take it along. The apartment was neat and well furnished, but when I reported the necklace, management did nothing and told us to go to the Police Station. I believe management should have called the police for a proper interrogation. The cleaners are thieves and management aids and abets them. It’s a disgrace to hospitality in Ghana, especially as this was my first experience of Ghana.
