The price is affordable and the location works well. There’s an unpleasant smell, though, and it wasn’t coming from the bedding.

Safety is clearly a priority here, and I felt secure along with my belongings. The staff were very polite, and Golden Simcha Hotel has a genuinely welcoming kind of hospitality. It’s a calm, peaceful setting too, with a luxury feel for an economy price. A good pick for business trips, holidays, meetups, or a getaway.

I’ve spent the New Year holiday here two years running, and keep coming back for the friendly, attentive staff, great food, and the atmosphere at the outdoor bar. The place is clean and cozy, and it’s easy to get around the city from here.

I was left without power in the dark for four hours, and they wouldn’t turn on the generator. I had a program to attend and ended up arriving three hours late. When I asked for a refund, they just kept giving me the runaround.

I especially like that the internet comes with unlimited data. It’s a lovely spot for a family, and I’d recommend the hotel to anyone.
