Grand View Hotel

When I visited a few days ago, there was no electricity from morning through evening, and the staff didn’t seem concerned. The place also smelled bad and was dirty, and the customer service didn’t impress me. They need proper staff training. I wouldn’t advise anyone to stay there.

Dirty bedspread, cobwebs throughout the room, and a bad smell in both the room and bathroom. This place doesn’t meet basic hotel standards, and I think the hospitality sector should inspect it. It needs to be shut down.

Cockroaches were in my room, and one nearby got into my ear. I couldn’t sleep at all that night and regret staying there. The standards are poor, and I can’t recommend it.

The price is relatively low, and the location makes it easy to reach business centres and offices. Still, I didn’t enjoy my stay, and anyone wanting comfort or a standard hotel experience should look elsewhere. I paid 130ghc for the third-highest room, not the cheapest at 70ghc, yet the electrical sockets and bathroom fittings were in poor shape, and there was no standby generator. Breakfast meant going to the kitchen, and ironing was only available through the laundry for 5ghc per shirt. I’d only suggest this hotel to someone who urgently needs a place to stay.
