Hotel De Zews

I stayed here alone during a trip to Ghana in December. It was affordable, and I liked how quiet the surroundings were. When I arrived without any cedis, they were very patient with me. My main issue was room service, which was nonexistent during my stay. The room was dusty and the bathroom wasn’t clean. They could do better.

The beds are comfortable, and you get hot water, air conditioning, and wifi. The rooms feel stuffy because there aren’t any windows that open to the outside for fresh air. Breakfast is lacklustre, and the rooms are badly in need of renovations.

A fantastic hotel for a short stay.

This is a budget hotel close to many attractions in Accra. The executive room is spacious, spotless, and has almost everything you might need for a peaceful stay. I can’t say the same about the other rooms, which aren’t as well furnished and have bathroom stains that remain even after room service. There’s no hot water, whichever room you’re in, just cold. Breakfast comes on time, but it isn’t appetising: every day of your stay it’s Milo with greasy white bread and a fried egg sandwich.
