I ended up spending my whole holiday there after that first day, and I still have very fond memories of the stay. A friend booked my first visit, and arriving was a lovely surprise. The location is excellent, close to everything but still peaceful and quiet.

There were only about two feet of water in the pools, and the phone in the room didn’t work. I also didn’t feel safe or welcome here. The owner/host was rude and inhospitable, and staff came into our room without permission and moved our things around. The cleaning lady knocked on my door asking for money. I reported it, and the host apologized, but nothing came of it. I still see her roaming the halls and cleaning at the hotel. Steer clear. This place didn’t feel safe or hospitable.

The internet was fast, and the water heater got really hot. It was quiet, homely, and spotless, with fresh smelling rooms and warm, helpful staff. My family stayed there for their honeymoon and loved every day.

After paying a huge amount for several rooms, we didn’t get value for the money. They’ll extort money from you while offering nothing worthwhile. The staff are terrible and can make your day horrible. Using Kingsbridge Royale Hotel as a wedding venue would be a terrible mistake. Absolutely no one should consider it, or they’ll make your day hell. From top to bottom, the people there are rude, arrogant, and ungrateful. Kingsbridge Royale hotel deserves zero stars.
