Lake Bosumtwi Hotel & Apartments

Breakfast wasn't served, and the front desk service from Migita was very poor. After a long journey, I didn't even get a proper welcome. She opened the door and left the key inside without telling me. When I went to ask about it, she had an attitude and said I should have known she'd left it in the room. 0/10. Would not recommend. Avoid this place.

The staff are welcoming, and the rooms look pretty and feel homelike. There's a restaurant serving breakfast to hotel residents, and room service too. The room options range from single-bed rooms without wardrobes, to double-bed rooms and apartments. I like the place, and it's closer to the road, so it's easier to get to. The mosquitoes around are disturbing, though. Insist that the room is sprayed with mosquito repellent before moving in.

It's clean, cozy, and adequate for the price, and the night staff are very friendly. The kitchen closes at 10 pm, but if you need something from there and they have it, the night staff will get it for you. You can also order online for delivery, though it's extremely slim that you'll find a place open late. The internet is debatable. As you move around the premises, the wifi changes and you have to log into another network. The main hassle is having to get staff to enter the pw every time you move. The signal is good, though, so I can't complain about the speed. Staff also compete to collect the daily room charges, since they get commissions on collections.

A great stay in a smaller hotel, with very good rooms, helpful staff, and a good breakfast. There's also a cool bar on the right side. It's close to everything, including an ATM, restaurants, and a FOREX Bureau.
