Monarch Hotel

I didn’t expect to have such a great experience there. It’s a classic hospitality company.

We were happy with our stay and found the room comfortable. We had an executive room for our family of four, with an extra bed that cost 30 USD. Breakfast started at 7:30am, the Wi-Fi was very good, and the staff were friendly and helpful.

I stayed there last year in March and look forward to going back on my next trip to Ghana. It’s good value for money, in a very calm area. Everyone was professional and helpful, from the security man to the front desk, kitchen, and other staff. The bedroom was nice, the bathroom great, and everything was super clean.

The Wi-Fi worked really well throughout the hotel, and there’s secure, free parking on site. The rooms have air conditioning, a safe, a fridge, and big TVs with a good movie selection. It’s a quiet place to sleep, in a calm neighborhood, and there’s a good conference facility, though we didn’t use it. For the price, I didn’t feel we got the full value. We weren’t allowed to choose breakfast or say what would suit us. They just brought something and expected us to accept it. We also weren’t given the complimentary water listed in the package. The room menu didn’t match the cafeteria menu, so check the prices before ordering.
