Secret Hotel

The included breakfast was good, and we had free water and toiletries, though water wasn't consistently available. We stayed for 10 days, and during that time the sheets weren't changed. They were dirty and heavily stained, and the towels were dirty too, only being changed when we asked for bedding. The hotel seemed like a construction site, with broken stairs; the fitness equipment didn't work, and there was no restaurant, sauna, or whirlpool. On arrival, a nice woman greeted us, but the elderly security man was totally drunk. He didn't bring our luggage to the room, even after going downstairs twice, and he was drunk daily. The free airport transfer covered arrival only, and we had to pay for departure. We also paid more than the price shown on the map. It's not as described, and we won't return.

The receptionist is welcoming, and the accommodation itself is nice. Still, the internet is slow and the road to the hotel is in poor condition. The map gives a poor location, and it isn't on Cedar road in Accra or close to the Exhibition round about. It's near Exhibition funeral home on Haatso-Atomic road downtown, and far from mokola market and korle Bu Teaching hospital. There are security guards now, and renovations are still underway.

They went the extra mile for me during my stay. The room was fairly priced, the food was great, and the service was great too. Fantastic hotel, I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a reasonably priced room.

It's in a pretty secluded spot, so the name Secrets makes sense.
