It’s easy to get to the airport from here, and you can stay for just a night or two or settle in longer term. The rooms are nice, the price is affordable, and the owner is open to all kinds of stimulating conversations. Wow, it’s clean too.

I spent time here on a private missionary assignment from December 2020 through August 2021 and really enjoyed the stay. The Backpacker, Accra is clean, quiet, affordable, safe, and secure. Dr.Bright Honu, the owner, is extremely friendly. We fondly call him Prof because he’s a retired PhD professor in economics from University of Australia. I rate Backpacker -Accra EXCELLENT and strongly recommend it to every tourist.

It’s nice, but I’m not keen on having to share the bathroom and toilet with the other occupants.
