The Highbridge Guest Lodge

I stayed for five days and was really impressed. The place was spotless, the rooms were made up impeccably, and it was peaceful despite being close to everything. Wi-Fi was fast and steady enough for virtual meetings and sending and receiving large files. Breakfast had nice choices, and the dinners were simple but tasty and filling. When my room’s AC stopped working properly, I mentioned it to the man at reception and it was fixed within a few hours. I was meeting local and regional colleagues, and one picked me up each morning. They remarked on how clean and comfortable the place looked compared with where others were staying, at a much higher price. Highbridge went well beyond what I expected. I’d definitely stay there on my next trip to Accra. Thanks, and well done.

The place is calm and lovely, and I enjoy coming back. I like the clean rooms, stylish interior, and friendly, professional staff. Breakfast is included, too. Try the watermelon juice, it has a zesty taste. The stew servings are small, so I’d order an extra portion. There aren’t comforters, and the room can get cold overnight if you turn the AC up. It’s a good option for a big family or group, and the quiet setting is a plus.

The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with walk-in closets, so it works well for a longer stay. There’s also a small, cleverly designed training area and an art gallery. The restaurant isn’t great, but the town is close enough that it’s no problem. It’s private and within walking distance of town, where you can get a feel for the area and find salons, eateries, convenience stores, and more.

The Highbridge Guest Lodge is in an Accra neighborhood away from the busy downtown area, but still close to the city’s amenities and attractions. It’s small, quiet, private, and secure, and the staff will know your name. They’re helpful with questions and can help plan what you want to do. My room had a boutique hotel feel, with lovely furnishings, marble floors cleaned every day, crisp, comfortable fresh sheets, and a well appointed bathroom. The AC and windows gave me options for air circulation. Breakfast was free and a great start to the day, and the lunch and dinner menu was good. The staff went above and beyond to meet my needs.
