I liked the location, bar, and delicious food, and the restaurant staff were professional. The staff overall were accommodating, too. But the sheets looked dingy and didn’t smell fresh, there was a persistent bad odor from the toilet room, and I saw several roaches. I’d return if those problems were fixed.

It’s a nice place tucked inside Dansoman, and the workers are friendly. The rooms are a bit small, though. There was no TV remote, the water heater didn’t work, and after ordering hot water I waited about an hour. I also had to ask for toilet paper, and the soap had already been used by another guest. The pool wasn’t clean, and there were mosquitoes everywhere.

Don’t let the poolside photos fool you. The rooms and bathrooms are dirty, the pillows smell, and the bedsheets and towels are stained. It’s an awful place to stay, more suited to people looking for a short night or a quickie. Stay there at your own risk.

I went to a parishioner’s brother’s funeral reception and was pleasantly surprised by the site’s layout. We were comfortable with the facilities and service, and the background music was suitable and not too loud.
